RMCOA Executive Committee Nominations are Open!

Are you interested in a position on the Executive Committee? The RMCOA Executive Committee is looking for motivated individuals to self-nominate for the 2023-2024 term! The form is live here and will remain open until June 1, 2023. Provided there are enough self-nominations, the new Executive Committee will be announced during the next quarterly meeting on July 19, 2023. The positions that are available include:

President – The President shall preside at meetings, serve as an ex-officio member of all standing committees, and perform such other functions as may be specified in these bylaws. Officers must be CURRENT COA MEMBERS.

Vice President – Shall act for the president in the absence of the President. Officers must be CURRENT COA MEMBERS.

Secretary – The Secretary shall maintain accurate minutes of the meetings and send reports to National COA. He/she shall carefully preserve, on file, all reports and papers of every description presented to the branch and shall be charged with the necessary business and professional correspondence. Officers must be CURRENT COA MEMBERS.

Treasurer – The Treasurer shall take charge of the funds of the branch. He/she shall present annually to the membership a statement of the account of the branch which statement will be certified by the Executive Committee. Officers must be CURRENT COA MEMBERS.

Communications Lead – The Communications Lead shall manage the content of all aspects of the Branch website (rockymountaincoa.com), including the Calendar and Blog. He/she shall coordinate with members of the Executive Committee to identify necessary content and update the website, as needed.

Area Activity Coordinators – The Area Activity Coordinators shall engage officers in their city or region in Rocky Mountain COA activities that are available remotely (e.g., meetings, webinars) and plan and engage local officers in their area (e.g., social or service activities). The Directors of Activity shall identify local venues for participating in RMCOA meetings together. At the RMCOA meetings, the Area Activity Coordinators shall report out on local activities. He/she shall provide information about upcoming local events to the Communications Lead, so that it can be included on the RMCOA website. He/she shall seek prior approval from the Executive Committee for any obligation of RMCOA funds.

• Election opens in June 2023, provided that self-nominations are received for each position
• Election results shared during the July 19, 2023 quarterly meeting
