CDR Lisa Kubasca (pharmacy category) and LCDR Grace Marx (medical category) ran the hilly Horsetooth Half Marathon in Fort Collins, Colorado in mid-April along with approximately 2,500 other participants. They enjoyed beautiful weather and tremendous community support for their participation in the historic 50th year of the Horsetooth Half race. The challenging route wound up and down the dams west of the Horsetooth Reservoir and ended at New Belgium Brewery for a family-friendly celebration with live music, food trucks, and games. LCDR Heather Rhodes and her husband brought mini PHS flags to demonstrate their pride in the Service and were joined by other family member and friend supporters.
